About

A body in conversation with light, rhythm, and place

Mahmoud is a professional dancer and choreographer with over 11 years on stage — performing and creating across contemporary, hip-hop, folklore, jazz, and Latin forms. His work moves between large-scale live productions and intimate theatre, always guided by the same principle: movement as storytelling.

From 2016 to 2022 he performed with Jullnar Dance Theatre Company, then stepped out independently to choreograph and perform original works reaching audiences across the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Lebanon, Jordan, Turkey, and Erbil. He leads performance teams, adapts to diverse cultural environments, and builds work that speaks directly to the people in the room.

Movement becomes art when it carries something true — a story the body tells that words cannot.

Voices

What remains after the lights

Mahmod does not decorate the stage — he holds it. Every entrance feels inevitable, every stillness charged.

Layla HassanDirector, Theatre Company01 / 03

Watching him move between heritage form and contemporary language is rare. Tradition stays alive in his body without becoming costume.

Precision without coldness. Emotion without excess. He gives the audience room to feel, then takes them further.
